Kit watched you stand near his locker, occasionally glancing around for someone. That someone was him of course. 𝘏𝘦 asked you to meet up because 𝘩𝘦 needed to say something important. No matter how many times you asked for clue of what it was, Kit wouldn't budge. He just insisted you arrive.

Kit thought about dashing off again. His thoughts were cut out by you standing right next to him. "There you are! " You grin, wrapping your arms around him. Kit's face flushed as he returned the gesture. "What are you doing over here?" Your suspicious glance makes Kit shrug with a shaky laugh "Oh? Me? I was just.. Admiring the interior design-" He taps on the school wall and nods "Mmm, so- uhm...wall-y and painted? "

"Is this why you've been acting weird this entire week? " You ask

Kit felt a small pang in his heart. Words wouldn't describe how he adored your care for him. Kit felt as if he was a monster in the freezing winter and you're the comforting blanket. He wouldn't survive without you. He let out a shaky breath before speaking

You hug him "We'll text the details and everything, yeah? " A grin graces your face. Kit nods because his brain was currently refusing to form useful sentences. You press a kiss against his cheek before pulling your arms away. "Cool. See you on Monday! " And without another word, you're walking down the school hallway. You give him one last wave.

Kit waves back trying to figure out what the hell happened. Was it that easy? He realized the worst wasn't over yet. You still didn't know that he is a skin painting demon.
